can somebody explain to me about the Mayan calender 2012 end of times proficy?
I don’t know the details or how they predicted it,somebody plz explain.
They didn’t really predict anything. In fact they have legends in their mythology that are supposed to take place sometimes after the year 5000 by our calendar. The believe that they predicted the end of the world in 2012 comes from the fact that the physical calendars they created ended on the a particular day in 2012. But this is most likely because this date was many many generations in the future, and they didn’t feel the need to calculate any farther in advance, just like we don’t really think too much about what’s going to be happening in the year 4036.

it’s just bullshit. If the Mayan knew the world about to end in 1212, why didn’t they aware of their own doomsday thousand years ago? Do you believe it’s the end of the word when you tear off the last day of the year off your calender?
