]]>Yes, it is true that DU is toxic if ingested or inhaled… and DU is suspected to increase the risk of birth defects. However, I think that exaggerating the issue to the point of lies is unproductive.
DU is one of many suspected causes of ‘gulf war syndrome’… no one is trying to cover up the problems with it. In fact in 1993 the navy switch to tungsten munitions.
