The “current” war in Iraq is the same war that began in 1990. There never was an end, only a cease-fire that Iraq violated repeatedly.

And, since the war was engaged by the US at the behest of most of the world– including the UN body itself– it was entirely “legal”, including the effort to oust Hussein in March, 2003.
