It’s unfortunate that in this world there are people who are easily led and persuaded by colorful characters who seem to have the ability to convince others that they are "the chosen one" who will guide them to a better life and after life.

What is it about humans that makes them gullible and accepting of people and ideas without proof of benefit?

I look at religion and belief and blind faith in god. So many billions of people have followed blindly as religious leaders have promised them salvation and a place in heaven.

All this without proof? If I was to tell you that if you gave me every cent that you own and within 7 days I would turn it in a million dollars you’d ask me for proof that it was going to work, true?

So why don’t people think that way about religion?

I predict that whatever discomfort humans manage to produce for this planet earth, that it will last for about another 600 million years, that’s about it’s age right now. It will then become another Mars and there will be another planet forming in much the same way that planet earth formed.

Don’t worry, nothing cataclysmic is going to happen in your lifetime.
